7 of my top 11 were catchers, and all 7 went by the 23rd pick. By contrast, there are currently only 7 red letter catchers (all of which are between 77-80 overall). The quality of catching in the league is going to be a lot better in a decade.

I have never seen so many quality catching prospects in a single draft. I hadn't even looked at the draft until tonight, and it is crazy.

Nice numbers to go along with 7 consecutive Cy Youngs and 9 total. Dan Boisclair, who was picked ahead of Dondero had a really nice career, but he's a trivia question.

Keeping Cream Abdul Jabaar and the Sycamores out of the tourney was total BS. And now the real pain begins. It ended up being moot, but my confusion came from the fact that the lottery results seem to go back 365 days. With a target date of 4/8, we would start at 2023. Since we subtract the runs of the winning team, it would then have to jump back to 2024 as 2023 doesn't go earlier that 4/7.

Just curious about this possibility. If the ALCS goes 6 games, Jaxon Aude would be the player whose DOB is used. His birthday is 4/8 (tomorrow as far as the lottery is concerned). You have to go to 2023 to get 4/8. 4/7 is is listed from 2023, but that is where it ends. I assume we jump back to 2024 ...
