i was always to trade a hitter for a first.
i waived pena and a pitcher went on the DL so I was able to get it down to 15.

There's nobody i want to waive.
I cant waive any of the vets because of mentor grades.
Stuck with 18 minor leaguers at the moment.
how would you manage?
i guess Sheely could be waived, maybe im holding onto him too long.

actually rooting for injuries so i can move guys in and out of the minors and the lineup

The only way to prevent moves like this is to make a league with like 90% variable development or something extreme in which you could have a B+ velocity, B- control 19yr old who could possibly not develop into a great pitcher.

I'm a Philadelphia fan and I wish the Phillies would make a trade like this..........if they're getting back Steve Carlton and Chase Utley as 19 yr olds.

I understand the motivation for this trade. The person getting the young pitcher wants to acquire a stud pitcher for the future. Most owners are not going to trade that pitcher, so you have to overdo it. I've done it myself. I'm trying to establish a certain mix of young players when I rebuild, losi...
