Nice day at the office for Quintana
Sim-August 23rd, 2112 , Crullers 1B Tom Quintana goes 3-for-6 with 8 (!) RBI - a three-run double in the second, a two-run homer in the third, and a three-run homer in the fourth. Cruller teammates Gary Coomer, Joey Bomback, and Mike Lindeman had three, three, and four RBI, respectively, and even P...

Re: STUPIDITY ALERT - PLEASE DON'T CLAIM PHIL DAILY
Thanks Angel kitchenband: because I waived him by mistake, instead of demoted by mistake, I can put a claim on him, but he doesn't immediately go back to my roster. He has to wait out the option period. That "Promote/Waive" routine under "GM" really ought to have a confirm before...

Confirm dialogue on Promote/Waive
It seems weird that when you use the GM - Promote/Waive path to manage your roster, there's no confirmation dialog. There really should be a "do you want to promote/demote/option/waive these players?" dialog before the change goes into the database.

STUPIDITY ALERT - PLEASE DON'T CLAIM PHIL DAILY
I meant to waive someone else, and waived him by mistake. Please just leave him there so he comes back home?

Baltimore's 2060 pick is available
We're early-ish in the season, but the die is cast: Baltimore's first-rounder next draft will be somewhere #3 through #5. I mean, maybe we catch CHI(A) or LA(N) by game 162.... but I don't think so! The Natty Bohs need more than just one good player - we need everything. You want #3? I am open to su...

Re: which guy stays in the developent lopp?
Both will break your heart - Buzz, A+ power but low contact... if you're very, very lucky he's Rob Deer , but more likely he's a thousand minor-leaguers you've never heard of. Forrest, A+ contact and just enough power to get the ball out of the infield, but no speed at all - again, guys like this wa...

Re: The Goose, Team Breakdown: Baltimore National Bohemians
When asked for comment on the above analysis, Baltimore manager Joel Johns remarked "$$%$&%, man, we're just making it up as we go along...."

four-way tie
NL standings as of sim-7-30-2023 have Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Colorado, and Cinsinnati tied at 59-47. I sense this race will go down to the wire...
