Re: 120 Win Jinx
Thanks Hitnrun, your team still had a phenomenal season. We would marvel at Hap Cox season this past year if he wasn’t overshadowed by Arnold and Davis unbelievable season. Got lucky probably didn’t deserve it the way the first 4 games went. Congratulations to the other playoff teams. TB and Houston...

Draft question
I now have 2 and 3 in this draft. I am taking one of the teenage pitchers with 2 but was curious if anyone would take the 22 SP Shuble over the 19 SS Brown at 3 or Mavis the terrible fielding CF who needs to be somewhere else. I also have pick 10 but I will take the best of the slop there. I would c...

Re: The 120 win jinx
It seems Abe’s choice is Texas for 2203. Man George Korwan would be hung if it was real Philadelphia fans. That dude forgot how to pitch. The Manager sucks too because Stone should have never been on the mound to start the 9th in game 3. Especially since Texas is weaker vsR. My mistake I forgot to a...

Re: The 120 win jinx
well theres context to everything. davis only made 8 of his 29 starts against the 3 teams right below you, whereas arnold made 16 of his 37 starts against the 3 teams below. so yeah my team scored most of its runs against the bottom of the league because thats what theyre supposed to, and davis dom...

Re: The 120 win jinx
Swept. With that staff and like 8 hitters with a OPS over .900. Crazy. The regular season they played 72 games against Boston, KC, and CHA. TB scores 530 runs against those 3. I wish we got stat breakdowns by opponent as I would guess TB hit close to 1.000 OPS against those 3 teams. Just like my st...

Re: The 120 win jinx
Philadelphia hung up the misreporting from the Baltimore Sun on the wall and used it as motivation.

Re: 1.20 ERA
Correct I understand the formula. I also know the writers would unanimously vote a guy with a 1.20 ERA the award winner.
They are all teammates, so it doesn’t really matter in the end but that was a magical season and sadly it doesn’t get recognized.

Re: 1.20 ERA
He had 29 Starts, was 19-1 in those starts. Then it doesn't matter if he is a RP or SP the CY Young goes to the best pitcher. A Reliever has won the Cy Young award 9 or 10 times in its history. Just for your amusement his 2 teammates that finished 9 votes ahead of him. http://www.simdynasty.com/play...
