Perez hits for Cycle, Sutcliffe knocks out 3 HRs
In a battle between teams with two very bad pitching staffs, the Hitmen layed down the hammer on the Washington Walrus. Winning game 1 between them 17-4.

In the game, Chicago's Alex Perez had a career game in not only hitting for the cycle but drawing a walk, stealing a base, going 5 for 5 at the plate, and adding a 2nd triple to his hit parade. Art Sutcliffe started out the scoring with a HR in the 1st, one of 3 he hit in the game, which was followed Perez's own HR. The 9th inning was an absolute nightmare for the Walrus as the Hitmen batted 12 times.
This will likely be the one and only highlight Chicago's pathetic team manages to earn this season.
