A little help please...Two clubs that finish 2nd in their respective
leagues have identical records and are headed for the WS. My team defeated
the 1st place team that had the best record in the overall league. My team
had a better record in head-to-head competition against the best team in
this league (the other team's record in head-to-head was not as good.) My
team had a better record last season than the team we're playing in the
WS. Just what determined the home field advantage (something that could
loom large in the championship series between us?)
Was it just silly old Abe flipping a quarter?
Thanks Billy (St. Louis Browns, Harry Craft League)

Head to head record is only checked against the team you are playing
against, so since you both finished the season with the same records, and
head to head is meaningless since you are in different leagues, it is
decided by coin flip.
