Jourdan Fires Second No Hitter

Cleveland Bounders pitcher Don Jourdan pitched his second no hitter on July 15 against the New York Highlanders, five years after throwing one against the Boston Bean Eaters. Jourdan, a former first round draft pick, has been considered a disappointment by many, having never won more than 9 games in a season, being used in relief more often than as a starter in his career. The 33 year old has a career ERA of 4.94, a mark he is just under this season (4.88). In his career he has pitched only 3 shutouts, with 2 of the 3 being no hitters.
