Road to the MVP and World Series

Post by glu24 »

Undertow Urbina was the 2092 MVP and helped lead the Seattle Ultra Mega to their first World Series Championship.

It all started back in 2065(when Urbina was 3 years old) when the Chicago Blues drafted Ben Sheppard in the 1st round with the 12th pick. The Blues released Sheppard in two years time and he was picked up by the Ultra Mega.

Sheppard posted 74 wins in just 3 seasons with the Seattle when he was traded to LA in a deal that bagged a first round pick and highly touted pitcher George Lowry in 2077.

Lowry was in Seattle for parts of 3 rebuilding seasons when in 2079 he was traded to a Houston team that was ready to win for 2 first round picks.

With one of those picks the green and yellow selected relieve pitcher Tomas Araya who has racked up 98 saves as a set up man with an Era for his career of 3.27 and a whip of 1.20.

The other pick was the reigning MVP Urbina who posted 27hr, 91rbi, 25 sb with a .322 Avg and a .372 ob% during his MVP year.

Thank you Chicago Blues in 2065 for not only drafting Sheppard but even more for releasing him in 2067.
