That's pretty good underdogging to get by two number one teams (one that finished 21 games ahead in the regular season) to take home a SAL trophy. Congrats Splinter on another fine season and a huge playoff month. Myself, I'm building a career in this league on trying to win it from 2nd place, so much respect from Atlanta.

KillerG, you have been getting the ABE shaft lately as probably the best team in the league over the last five years or so. Managers who know what's up know that you are winning, at least in putting your team in the position to play in the biggest games year over year. Nice job.

The championship drought of more than 1,000 days is broken.

Unfortunately it took a deeper dive than usual...our first 100 loss season and 5 of the 7 worst seasons in team history between the trophies. I was surprised to realize that before the last championship in 2013, this team had suffered 90 loss seasons only twice - 2004 & 2005.

So closes the first century of the SAL.
