Hall of Fame Results

The votes have been counted, and we have 5 new members of the DML Hall of Fame. Eleven owners voted, so 9 votes were needed for election. The Inductees are:
Gary Bochte - 11
Mike Punto - 11
Dalton Edwards - 11
Mookie Lee - 10
Doug Guardado - 9

Also receiving votes were:
Beryl Wickersham - 5
Johnny Clark - 3
Nick Castle - 3
Byron Mullins - 3
Jack Hatteberg - 2
Lonnie Powers - 1
Three votes were needed in order to remain eligible for future consideration, so only Hatteberg and Powers (along with the 15 players who received no votes, of course) have been eliminated.

In approximately ten days, I will be posting another ballot, listing players who retired between 2033 and 2035. My plan is to have two more votes next season (2036-2038 and 2039 + holdovers) at which point we will have considered every player retired more than five years.
My thanks to everyone who took the time to consider these worthy players and cast their ballots. I encourage everyone to "visit" our Hall of Fame. The new Inductees will be listed by tomorrow. Thanks again.
