So I was looking at Injury Data, trying to come up with some kind of formula for a "Manager of the Year" corresponding Wins to # of injuries or total days of injury or something, but nothing would suss itself out ... so here's just some random data.
• Atlanta has dealt with the most injuries this year: 14
• Chicago NL comes in second with 13
• 3b Aden Black of Texas has suffered the longest injury at 51 days
• Texas leads the league in Injured Days with 311 of them
• Chicago NL in second with 298 days of injury
• Broken down into "Days Per Injury" (DPI) my own Tampa Bay Burn leads with 31.4 days per injury (220 days for just 7 injuries)
• Texas is second with a 31.1 DPI rating
• Taking a look at Wins/Injury, Brooklyn comes out on top with a 44.5 score, but they've only had two injuries all year (so far)
• New York NL is second with 32.5 and also just two injuries
• There have been 193 injuries so far this year
• That's an average of just over 8 injuries per team
• The best Wins/Injury score for teams with at least 8 injuries belongs to St. Louis at 8.67

Re: Manager of the Year...?
Interesting stats. Ive always placed a premium on health when drafting in max injury lesgues.
Re: Manager of the Year...?
Health is definitely important in these leagues (I'm in 2 high injury leagues). I'm in a conundrum here with a young pitcher that went to A- at OS22 who I would normally bring up at that point... but he's got D- health and I'm afraid of exposing him to injuries...
Re: Manager of the Year...?
Tough to vote on a manager of the year, especially this year. I don't see any surprises in the league standings like we had last year with NYN.
Re: Manager of the Year...?
Manager of the year is whoever wins the WS. It's all about the rings.
