Teams over .500

Post by Kabuki »

I am not sure I have seen this before.
In the NL only the 4 playoffs teams are above .500
And in the AL you have the 4 playoff teams and 1 other team just 2 games over.
So in the entire 2 leagues you have only 1 non playoff team above .500 and just barely

Tampa and Baltimore tied for the 4th spot in the AL, so technically 1 of them is over as well. Doesn't change the fact that it's pretty crazy. Clear case of haves and have nots. I think my CHN team has a shot to get over .500 next year, but probably not the playoffs.

I've never seen so many below average teams. A lot of times you'll see 8 teams with 100 wins and 8 teams with 100 losses. We only have 5 with 100 losses, but 8 teams with losses in the 80's. Only 3 teams in the whole league with a winning record, but less than 100 wins! That seems really low.

I don't know about the other teams but I don't feel my teams record was incidicative of the actual talent on the roster. I fully expect a bounce back season or I might need to replace the coaching staff.
