With 1 final season to go in the term, the battle still rages on for the top spot in the VSL. Oakland surprised with a WS win and moved to a 20 point lead on Detroit. While both have hinted at rebuilding, I think they will try to make 1 more run at the big money. Los Angeles continues to hold onto the 3rd spot despite rebuilding. They had built a pretty big cushion and some teams behind them rebuilt too... Does anyone have the season needed to take the spot? My guess/prediction is that LA will hold onto 3rd. The real battle is the to finish 4 and 5 and get a little money.6 teams are within 50 points and looks to be a battle royal. New York(N) and TB seems to be the teams with the best chance since they came up with a playoff finish last season... then SF is quite competitive too, finishing with a 5th place finish and they have the advantage of the lead for 4th going into the season. As per the norm this season, Boston looks to have the bragging rights for finishing a distant 24th of 24 teams.

It's the final leaderboard for this session of the VSL. It was a tight race at the top most of the session, but in the end the consistency of Oakland was able to outlast Detroit to win the top prize. Detroit settles for second with Los Angeles in 3rd as it has been for most of the session. Tampa Bay has a good final season to jump from 6th into the money at 4 and Texas holds off a hard charging NYN to claim the last money position. Despite a great season in Boston, they still easily claim the bottom spot. Congrats to the money winners!! Good luck to all the next session.
