Brando
Dutra

--San Fran

I'd rank Brando over Dutra. He's one of only 2 players who have played in the last 50 years to have five seasons hitting .330 or better. The other is Rinaldo Carey. 6 players did it between 1950-1970: Jason Lightner, Irish Chieftan, Jose Sandoval, Charlie Manuel, Cris Tabler, Matt Shepherd. (You can find all 7 of these guys on the HOF page.) It's arbitrary, as one of Brando's seasons was exactly .330 and apart from those 5 he never hit higher than .306, but he almost gets my vote based only on the 4-year stretch from '14 to '17.

Side note that 2007 draft class was incredible: http://simdynasty.com/draftpref.jsp?year=2007

Brando
Dutra
Whaling...why did he retire at B+/A+ vs right hand pitchers with A- speed? Colorado needed him for another season or two!

Going with a big ballot here...

Dutra - feels obvious
Whaling
Brando
Dillman

Whaling/Brando/Dillman are pretty similar in counting stats. Brando had the huge average - easy win for me. Dillman was comparable in counting stats which is easy since he played so long. That doesn't take away his dominance in his peak (9 straight all-star). Whaling was someone I never wanted to face - he should have played another year or two and become a lock.

Thanks Femgo for directing me here. Its interesting to have the two tiers, just continues to show why I was told this is the best group.

Brando
Dillman
Dutra

Dillman needs more love in the voting, if he were not a catcher, his numbers would be much better, and they are pretty damn good as it is.
