Hall of Fame nominations

Post by co_daddy »

The last Hall of Fame ballot we had before the game was temporarily frozen was 1968. Below is the thread we had going at the time for the 1970 nominations.

Everyone should be looking at their retired players to see if anyone is worthy of the Hall of Fame.

We last had a Hall of Fame Ballot in 1968, so check your retired players from the past four off-seasons

Please post players here that you feel are worthy of nomination. I am assuming that we are now only nomination players that have stats from the ACL only. So needing prior league info should be a thing of the past.

Please only nominate someone if you feel they are at least a borderline Hall of Famer. We are already carrying over 16 players and don't need every player that has ever made at least one all-star team to be on a ballot.

The below players will be carried over to the next ballot

Brent Parks - 71.4%
Bill Bradley - 64.3%
Chad Wellenreiter - 57.1%
Hal Hrabosky - 57.1%
Harry "Pops" Watson - 57.1%
Bill Just - 50.0%
Mike Allen - 42.9%
Danny "Moose" Haas - 42.9%
George Allen - 35.7%
Tommy Horton - 35.7%
Jake Lyle - 35.7%
Desmond Vaughn - 35.7%
Artimuz Brizzolara - 35.7%
Johnnie Smith - 28.6%
Lee Smith - 28.6%
Lloyd Eunick - 21.4%
