Here we go again

Post by imalbundy2 »

drafted FIVE, yes FIVE 17 year olds!

looks like i'm going to have to give players away again like i did before we switched to the new minor league format. funny to see some of the older ones making all star teams now,

NYA got my #2 and #3 ranked players at #13 and #2. :o

Funny you mention that. Cuz I got both my #1 and #2 rated players. I was about to send you a message asking your philosophy behind the power hitters. As many years as I have been playing this game, the draft seems to be my biggest weakness.

So now that the draft is over, if anyone is willing to share who their top 3 rated players were I am definitely interested to know.

Interesting. I had Aguillera at 11. Guess I was the only one that didnt see him as the #1 in this draft. I had Scott at 3 and Ward at 13.

I guess I thought a 17 year old catcher who had the potential at an A+ arm in 6 seasons and even maybe A- across the board was the #1 player. I hate his D health but thought he was the best. The pitcher I dont think is better than B+ B+, so its possible he ends up in my bullpen in 5 seasons.

i had the catcher at #3. I don't put as much rank into the whole catcher thing as most others. My current catcher I trained in the minors and I have another I'm training now. He certainly would never be a SS. The question is if Schmidt wasn't already a C, would you have ranked him that high?

OMG!!! Bubby frikking Blister!!! lmfao!!!!!!

he was actually a pitcher in the Detroit system. played for Leyland.

Wow, I guess I still don't know what I'm doing here. I had the first 2 picks in the draft ranked 12 and 11!

I'm still trying to figure out how ABE gave me a 29 year old catcher and for some reason he is rated 4th over all in the draft picked 26th. ????
