Congrats to Del Stillman on his second career shutout

Post by allenciox »

It is no secret that the Gold Miners owe a lot of our success over the past twelve years or so to Del Stillman. He has been an all-star for every one of those seasons, and Cy Young award winner for seven of them. He has led the Kevin Brown league in wins 4 times, strikeouts 5 times, and ERA twice. He is currently the all-time leader in the league in career era.

He is now in the twilight of his career and this season will be the first one in the past thirteen where his era has exceeded 3. But he still found it in him to throw a no-hitter against one of the highest powered offenses in the Kevin Brown league --- the Chicago Cannons.

Please join me in congratulating Stillman on this effort, but also on his illustrious career.

His 2 career no no’s are against the Cannons. That’s crazy.
