MVP seems extremely ordinary. I mean he hit for average but an OPS of .858. If you double the stats 88 runs, 188 hits, 24-2-10, 76 RBI's that seems awfully ordinary. No offense, but just odd that was all there was as the top hitter.

I feel compelled to point out that the League's leading hitter was Jim Anderson of the Brooklyn Raiders. He hit .352 with more HRs and RBIs and a higher OB% and OPS than Cleary. Yes, he plays for a 7th place team, but since when is there a connection anymore between the team's finish and the player's performance in choosing MVPs? Can you say - Mike Trout?
