CASIAN HITTING .415

Post by jacktoast »

Houston catcher Bob Casian was the All Star starter at catcher last season and the league's Most Valuable Player.

He hit .361 with 17 homers and 49 runs batted in in 68 games for the RangeRovers. However this season might be a better season for him. His team finished fourth with a 40-41 record is currently 23-15 tied for second with St. Louis one game behind first place Pittsburgh.

This season his 12 homeruns and 415 batting average both lead the league. His .446OBP, .746SLG, and 1.192OPS are also the best in the league.

Casian is currently on a seven game hitting streak, and has had previous streaks of four games and seven games, in his last 20 games in which he is hitting .537, (36 for 67) has scored 16 runs, hit 7 homeruns and driven in 7 runs.
