After Corkle blew one save and lost another, I was afraid he was going to have the series he had in '42. And then stranding 14 runners in game 4 didn't help the nerves much. Fortunately, Wade pitched a gem in game 7 after not having much luck on the road against Detroit this season.

First season that I can remember where my staff did not have a complete game(16 last) as compared to Detroit having 40.

Congrats, SD. Blew us out big time in the first two games and romped from there. My weak bullpen was badly exposed, alas.
