Congrats, Mario!

Post by ballmark »

Brooklyn, in not having to play Oakland for the first time in nine years, seized upon this opening and though they fell to the Tigers in the first three games, rallied to sweep the final four and win their first World Series Championship since 2221 - ending an 18-year drought.

CONGRATULATIONS!!

The Tigers won this confrontation 14 years ago, in 2225, which was the last time the Tigers managed to squeeze by Oakland for a World Series berth.

So, in a way, it was a "win-win" for both teams!

Despite not getting to play Brooklyn for the 9th consecutive season, Oakland too considers this season a win. The 139 regular season victories stands as both an all-time Oakland record and JFL record for wins in a season. That said, congrats Brooklyn, well deserved.

I guess that's the secret to winning the WS. Hope OAK gets eliminated so we don't have to face them.
But when DET. was about to eliminate me 4 straight that was an even bigger scare.

At least it was a little different this year.

Big things may be ahead yet for the JFL
