yay Urban Achievers

Post by micktissue »

Well, no one but me thought this could happen. Getting past the Mighty Vikings was the WS for me because there could be no way to also get past the Reds. But, do you guys remember Piners? That guy gave me some awesome advice about this league and darn it he was right. I stuck to the plan and it worked!

Congrats to Toronto and the Reds. Tough teams and the Urban Achievers had just enough to win a short series.

All the best for next year!

NIce run, Mick. Sort of like a Nascar race strategy. Hang back and draft behind the leaders and once they tire themselves out, then you hit the gas at the finish line....

Congrats to the Washington team. I made the mistake of resting my top three starting pitchers and not unresting them. No one to blame for that but me. I do that from time to time and it bites me almost every darned time.
