Re: NL playoffs
Congrats to Washington for a NL sweep. Starting to get frustrated that a really good season ends in dismay in the playoffs.

Re: NL playoffs
I've seen this before with my own teams who dominated the regular season only to lose badly in the playoffs. It's the whim of ABE.
For my own part, building a team for the playoffs is all about pitching. The Manatees are just lucky that their decent pitching decided to show up over the last 4 games.
They tried to lose 2nd place but the Vikes sweep of KC gave us the chance. Ironic, I know.
Who knows if ABE will continue to grace the Seacows in the WS.
Best,
Mick

What a shocker!!, scrolling down I saw I was down 3 games to zero, figured I got swept. Then see my team won 4 in a row. Wow, I didn't expect that Philly!!. Your team is very good and didn't think I woukd get past your team. See what happens in the World Series

Re: NL playoffs
I have teams in several leagues, and if I had a dollar for every time a first place team wins the playoffs - I'd be a poor man indeed.
