While 8-2 playoff run doesn't sound like a fluke, Toronto was so dominant all year and the Reds, while we matched up pretty well on paper, finished the regular season going 13-2! And then blowing past the Flops (unfortunate name), so the WS win feels a little bit fluke-ish.
I built this team with pitching and defense primarily in mind and the payoff has been making it to the WS 3 out of 4 years and winning twice, so there is something to be said about just hanging around until ABE gives you a hand
