If this can gain steam, I'm willing to put in a little work. Who is our league administrator/commissioner? Also the HOF coordinator is wktam, who is that? Can we change that? Not sure what type of criteria we want to use like 3,000 hits automatically in? Voting? League discussion for those interested. Here are 10 retirees from 2030 that made significant achievements in their career.
Rich Dygert - C AZ/Bal .283-234-1043, 5 WS, 6 AS, 2026 MVP, 3 GG
Marshall Wilver - SS .308-379-1504 395 SB; 2,704 hits; 4 WS, 2014 ROY, 11 AS, 4 MVP
Kid Callahan - SP 229-161 3,096 K, 1.16 WHIP, 7 AS, 3 Cy Young, 2 GG, no-hitter
Rick Pratt - RP 81-59 396 saves 3.94 ERA, 2 Fireman, 7 AS
Damon Templeton 237-165 3.16 ERA, 3,198 K, 1WS, 8 AS, 2022 Cy Young
Dick Smith .274-311-1384 216 SB; 4 WS, 7 AS, 2023 MVP
Rube Jones - OF .296-379-1555 267 SB, 12 AS, 2 WS, 5 GG, 3,057 hits
Rob Branyan 95-69 143 saves 3.38 ERA; 4 AS, 1 fireman
Xavier Avery - BOS - .285 195 HR; .362 OB, .802 OPS; 351 SB; 3 AS, 4 GG
Bob Myers - RP - MIA/MIL 28-37 346 saves 3.97; 6 AS, 1 fireman
If I missed anyone from the 2030 retiree class that should be considered for the HOF please let me know. I plan to go back year by year as I have time. Someone want to help with standardized criteria? Can I be the HOF coordinator?
Here are my votes for this year's HOF class (I say we limit to no more than 5 per year unless extraordinary circumstances)
Rube Jones - 379 HR, 3,057 hits; 12 AS
Marshall Wilver - SS .308, 379 HR, 1,504 RBI, 395 SB; ROY, 11 AS, 4 MVP, 2,704 hits; 4 WS
Kid Callahan - SP 229-161; 3,096 K's 1.16 WHIP; 3 Cy Young; 7 AS; no-hitter
Damon Templeton - SP 237-165; 3.16 ERA 3,198 Is; 8 AS; Cy Young
My 5th may take a vote but the 4 above I think should be in our HOF.
Rick Pratt 396 saves; 2 fireman awards; 7 AS
Dick Smith 1,384 RBIs' 7 AS; 2023 MVP
Rich Dygert - C 1,043 RBIs; 6 AS, 3 GG, 2026 MVP
Maybe only 4 this year? I think Jones, Wilver, Callahan & Templeton deserving but then I'm just a 2nd year manager.
Happy Hot Stove.

Re: 2030 retirees who are possible HOF'ers
Hey Jerry,
A few of us here have been here since the start, about 10 years ago! It's nice to see to take an interest. I am so busy I barely get on to check teams once a day. As of now the commish position is vacant. We can recruit.
If you want to revive the HOF I'm all for it.
Thanks,
Rich

Re: 2030 retirees who are possible HOF'ers
I would love for the HoF to be activated. As I build my team I would love to see my players make it to the HOF who deserve it How do we go about recruiting a commissioner. I'm got plans to stay for a long time and build my Team in to a Dynasty Like the Boys form NY (AL). Would like to keep the this league gong with same players and build a repore with all league members to make it more fun to play.
