2052 HALL OF FAME SELECTION ANNOUNCEMENT

It is once again a great honor and my privilege to introduce to you, the distinguished owners of franchises in the Duke Snider League, the latest additions to the League’s Hall of Fame. Eleven owners voted, one fewer than in our last selection election. The voting owners selected four new Hall of Fame members. Selection required six votes in favor of enshrinement. A nominee receiving at least three but not the six needed for induction would automatically be included on next season’s ballot. The Hall of Fame welcomes:

Steve Murphy was unanimously elected. Danny Redd, Jr. received ten of the eleven votes cast. None of the other four nominees received more than two votes. Therefore, next season’s ballot will have no automatic nominees.
