This just in from the AP wire Oakland ownership has announced that they are extremely ecstatic to see Rico Carty traded to a National league team.
Rico In his 10 plus season with Seattle had crushed Oakland pitching to a fine tune of 89 home runs and 208 rbi's with a measly batting average of 407!!

NO WONDER he thought it was just a lousy trade but not abusive :)
