Looks odd but makes sense with the penalties.

Yes--since three teams had over 110 losses--they are penalized two spots

That leaves Atlanta picking first and New York Disciples picking 2nd--that left your team the Buffaloes
tied with Brooklyn with 49 wins..Brooklyn won the tie-breaker because he had more
wins in the month of September...………..and unfortunately that left the New York Grey Sox
picking 5th because they lost the most (117) in the penalty phase of the draft.

We say you only lose two spots in the draft--but if everyone--let's say 6 teams were in penalty,
you could end up picking 8th with the 6 teams in penalty ranked by how many wins they have
more than the rest of the penalty phase teams...……..am I making any sense or just blowing
dust out my pants...……………...
