Charlie Gatewood of the Seattle Starbucks whiffed 271 batters during the recently completed season. This total marks the fourth highest single season total in JOL history and the most since the legendary Yoshitomo Tsujihara of the Atlanta squad K'd 276 29 seasons ago.
