Houston-Montreal Trade

It looks like Dan Brown was just traded from Montreal to Houston for no compensation.

Either owner care to comment? I don't want to file another trade protest but this seems odd.

I had optioned Dan Brown to make room for one of the players I got in the trade with Florida. Montreal claimed him, and when the trade was protested, said he'd send him back if the trade was overturned.

I figured it wasn’t fair that Houston dropped the guy bc of the trade and if the trade is overturned he loses Brown also

Just thought it was the fair thing to do
