Game Algorithm

Someone please explain this yo-yoing effect of 8-1, 1-8, 8-1.

I don't think my team is really good, but mot sure where you see this type of effect in baseball history. It is my understanding that it is actual real life permutations they use to run their game play algorithms

The 2017 Dodger went 16-1 at one point in the season and then went 1-16 a month later. So yes, things like what happened to you do happen in real life.
