About 2/3 of the way through the season, Hertwreck was hitting .416, but he's been on a downward trajectory since. :(

You know how in the Premier League, they demote underperforming clubs. Well... Los Angeles needs to be relegated. 1107 runs against is an embarrassment.

Some records did end up being set in 2039 (along with a few close calls):

1) New #1 single-season HR champ: Norm Hartley - 53*
* tied with Don Elliott and Wib Ouellette
2) New #3 single-season RBI total: Pete Walters - 162 RBI
3) Another MOSBY for Hartley. This time his 645 votes passes the 640 (now #3 overall) from his magical 2037 season for a new #2 overall. Sergio keeps the #1 title of 661 from his 1978 season.

Yeah, & Hertwreck managed to go backwards and fell to 18th (.358) by Game 162.
