My aging First-Baseman might be ready for retirement

Post by spicoli306 »

In the last game, he amazingly made 2 of the 3 outs in the same inning. Adding insult to injury, he was expected to be coming in for his superior hitting compared to my light-hitting Short-Stop. I know SimD hasn't updated it's code in years, but I wish there was a way to add some useless trivial addition like stating that "said player" immediately got thrown out of the ballgame for arguing balls&strikes with the ump or that "said player" went-Tyson on the Gatorade container in the dugout.

Inning: 8 New York
Jeff Shields is pinch hitting for Todd Lynn.
Jeff Shields grounds out to the first baseman (unassisted) - great play by the first baseman to prevent a single!
Rube Breeding is pinch hitting for Tornado Goodell. Pinch hitting for the relief pitcher because it is in or after the 5 inning.
Rube Breeding walks.
Mike Rehg walks.
Masafumi Kondo comes in from the bullpen to pitch.
Pitcher is being pulled because of the certain circumstances stamina rule which states SP should be immediately pulled when tired and a runner is on at least 2nd.
Rick Reynolds singles to left field.
Rube Breeding scores.
Mike Rehg advances to third on the hit.
George Lukon pops out to the shortstop.
Pete Walters walks.
Mike Blanche walks.
Mike Rehg scores.
Tommy Niehaus walks.
Rick Reynolds scores.
Andy Suder is hit by a pitch.
Pete Walters scores.
Enzo Katt comes in from the bullpen to pitch.
Jeff Shields strikes out.
Runners left on base: 3
