Hall of Fame Balloting

Post by woodpeckers »

My process … I look over the retired list and see who has lofty numbers like 2500 hits 400 HR 1500 RBi 200 wins 400 saves etc. Catchers of course may be lower and a guy who made a bunch of AS teams could be considered. Please nominate anyone you think I may have missed.

75% to elect 25% to stay on ballot. Four ballots max. Vote by August 1st

We have two candidates this season. Both on their first ballot.

Rueben Moore http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=11713470
Pedro Ontiverous http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=11354803

We have one old timer on the ballot.
Robby Thompson http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=11017642
Here is why he may be worthy: 3rd best all-time OBP, 7 All Star appearances, 3 WS rings, and an MVP award.
This is a one and done vote. No second ballot

Thompson was an on-base machine.
Moore was a key part of some great Cleveland teams
Ontiveros was the textbook definition of a workhorse - #9 in all time innings pitched....seemed.like every time I played New York in a big game we were facing him
