Playoff Push & Season Highlights

As we near the playoffs; there is an excellent battle in the NL for final playoff spot between Florida & Chicago. With 5 games to go; only two games separate these teams with a final series between the two to decide the final playoff spot. Chi & NY in AL and Ari in the NL have secured postseason births.

Also noteworthy is if you're looking for some batting advice; send players or coaches to the Windy City. Both Chicago teams have dominated the team offense stats this year. Both the CHI Hurricanes (AL) and CHI Style Pizza (NL) finished 1-2 in the following team stats - R, H, RBIs, OPS, OBP, SLG, and AVG! Arizona was able to lead in 2B & 3B, Houston was able to grab the 2nd spot in HRs, and Florida led in SBs. Other those categories Chicago teams dominated! Very impressive...

Arizona & Florida were consistently among the leaders in the Pitching stats (ER, Fewest BBs, Fewest H, WHIP, and ERA) along with Pit with most Ks and Fla with most Shutouts (11).

Great season all around for sure! That Florida-Chicago series is going to be a classic pitching vs. offense battle. Strength vs. strength. Can’t wait to see how it plays out. Another great season for Arizona too! Congrats!

Congrats to both Florida & Chicago in the NL on strong finishes to the season. With 6 games to go; Defending CYL Champion Florida held a 2 game lead over Chicago. Both teams swept their series keeping pressure on the final series of the season between the two. Chicago won the 1st game 10-1 narrowing the Florida lead to one game with two games to go then Florida put together a critical win in game 162 to seal their playoff fate. Wow. What an ending to a season.

Congrats to both teams for outstanding seasons. Now off to the NLCS to see who represents in the series this year.

Best of luck to Florida in the NL and congrats to both Chicago and New York in the AL on their fine seasons as well.

Good luck in the WS, congrats to chicago ! This is one of my favorite teams it was in last place when I bought it 1/2 way though the season a few back!
