Is Anybody Out There?

Post by historymann49 »

No one has posted on this forum for more than 5 weeks, which is OK. At first. Then it starts to get a little creepy. I find myself compelled to ask, like the ham radio operator at the end of "War of the Worlds", is anybody out there......is anybody out there......is ANYbody out there? Not one mention of the 1950 playoffs; not one mention of the 1951 season at all. So, let me congratulate Milwaukee - 1950 WS champions; Atlanta - 1951 WS champions; and all the playoff teams. I now return you to your regularly scheduled program. Thank you and good night.

I'll take that as a "no". All alone in the universe?

"Not known for a lot of conversation". That's certainly an understatement. I think some of our fellow owners have either skipped town or become comatose.
