Back on July 12, 1950 the Baltimore Choppers took a back side-whooping from the homestanding Anaheim Fans by a Sweet Georgia Brown tune of 22-2.

Anaheim had 22 runs on 22 hits and 6 walks that accounted for 52 total bases.

Among the 22 hits for Anaheim were 14 singles, six doubles and six homeruns and six walks.

Spencer Edwin had two doubles and one homeruns (8 total bases)… Ryan AlDean hit two homers and a double for eight total bases to lead the hit parade. Brutus Pikestar, Shane Hunter, Paul Biggins also hit homeruns.

Juan Winston gave Baltimore a very short lead with a lead of homerun in the first inning.

Seattle starting pitcher Issac Frisbee, was the beneficiary of all these runs. Frisbee went the distance surrendering just 8 hits and 2 runs. He struck out 6 and walked 4.

Four members of the Baltimore took the pounding on the mound. Starter Giomar Pena went 3.1 innings gave up 7 runs and 8 hits...Dennis Thompson gave up six hits and 8 runs in one inning.... Tony Scanlon gave up five runs on five hits in 1.2 innings and Dante Stewart allowed two runs on three hits in 2 innings.

Anaheim scored 12 runs in the fourth inning and six more in the fifth to blow the game open. Anaheim also scored one in the first and sixth inniings, and two in the seventh.

So far the highest scoring game of this season.....
