Draft Classes

Is it just me or have they been absolutely awful? I think this is my 4th one since joining the league and feel like the lack of talent and poor draft classes in this league are absolutely crushing the league... Of all the leagues I've ever been in the overall level of talent in this one appears to be the worst.

Any reason for it you guys have previously discussed?

You get streaks of good ones and bad ones. I did read somewhere that the retiring players from the year prior can affect the draft class. I think that might only be the imports, but I'm not sure. Maybe a good reason to get rid of our retirement system?

It won't run until we have an expansion draft. We could be in for a long wait.

The GNL use to have tons of bad draft classes.

Plus the imports' skill level are also partly based on the current skill level of the league. If there is low talent, they tend to have less talent.

Basically we need active owners to develope players otherwise draft classes are going to keep getting watered down for a while.
