Trade advice in the Wilson Roberts League (Private/Speed League)

Post by Dumbwop »

I need your help with this trade offer. This is a (Private/Speed League)

I have been offered:
Del Ochoa
1976 Draft Pick Rd 3(KC)

I would give up:
Wayne Tanner
1974 Draft Pick Rd 2(BOS)

Here is a link to my depth chart

Here is a link to the other owner's depth chart

And here is a link to my league's standings

Thanks for the help,

It's a fair offer, and I'd be inclined to take it. You have 4 or 5 starting pitchers all lined up, so one more solid reliever would be nice to have! Then the only issue left with your team is hitting. You're going to have to come up with a stud hitter or two to complete the rebuild.

Ive been thinking about trading a starter to pick up a high end hitter. The raise your own pitching and trade for hitting theory. I think I have enough pitching to pull something off. If I could pull off that type of trade would this still be a good trade.

This a good trade. The hitter may be better down the road than expected, but doesn't appear to be a future star. The reliever could be a very good pitcher one day, likely A overall if given the ICs. The pick may or may not be good. I think it's worth the risk of losing out on a decent prospect to get a young red letter reliever.
