Trade advice in the Wilson Roberts League (Private/Speed League)
Re: <t>Trade advice in the Wilson Roberts League (Private/Speed League)</t>
Ochoa, with Citarella and Causey, your relief corp will be set for the next 8 - 10 seasons. That htter won't help you, because you are not ready to contend. Never trade a pitcher unless you have a surplus, or one piece away from contending.
Re: <t>Trade advice in the Wilson Roberts League (Private/Speed League)</t>
IF I were to ok this deal the first thing I would do is put Bostock in the minors for the next season and a half and give him max CPs. Im trying to build a contending team. What good is a bullpen and starting staff for 8 to 10 seasons if the entire line up is a bunch of Punch and Judy hitters. Even the mid 80s St Louis Cardinals who ran like hell had one power hitter.

Good pitching and a solid defense can win championships too. This is my right-handed everyday lineup that just won the world series in the Mickey Mantle League.

Not bragging, but I have won 4 out of last 6 championships with this approach. Against teams with 7 red letter power hitters and which were also A speed rated. Btw, my team was second to last in steals.
I use what is available. even if they only do a couple of skills well. I have no problem platooning.
