Post by VladimirTrump »

I've never had an eye for talent pertaining to contact hitters.

THoughts on these guys?

Drafts have been weak on power. One guy I drafted last year.

How do you predict these guys Power and contact once they're 27/28 years old assuming they get an average amount of ICs and convert them on average? Also, I know speed is a major factor for contact guys, what would you reckon C+ and B- speed make it out to at os 27/28?

Would you draft either of the first two guys number 2 overall in this draft http://simdynasty.com/draftcenter.jsp?lid=1420 (sorry don't know how to post drafts - it's for the gaylord perry league)

I have a preference for the first guy because his range is a bit better as well as his power vs rights, but his speed is lower which actually may hurt him more. Also, how would create a park if you have a lot of contact hitters? Do you move the fences back and put turf on the field?

C+ should make low A speed, worst case high A-
B- should make mid to high A speed, worst case low A. Could make A+ if that B- is on the high side.

Those first 2 guys are solid prospects.
