Trade advice in the Wilson Roberts League (Private/Speed League)
Re: <t>Trade advice in the Wilson Roberts League (Private/Speed League)</t>
That is a horrible predatory offer. I wouldn't trade either of your prospects for what you are being offered straight up, let alone both and also a first round pick.
Re: <t>Trade advice in the Wilson Roberts League (Private/Speed League)</t>
Sometimes one must post trade offers to show others what NOT to do. I spit half a cup of coffee onto my monitor when I saw this. In this case he feels this would help my chances at making the playoffs. Maybe it would but not at this price. I feel a bag of batting practice balls and a couple of used pine tar rags would be more than enough.

It says private message can't be found
Re: <t>Trade advice in the Wilson Roberts League (Private/Speed League)</t>
He took exception to my comment of are you serious, and went on to explain that if I didnt like the offer I should have countered. In previous dealings with this team it only goes his way or no way.

Wow. These are the kinds of offers that really annoy me. Usually when confronted with unfair offers the other party says "counter". While it is a strategy to start low on the offer and build from there; it's hard to take these offers serious. First of all you'd be giving up 3 first round picks. Two of those are top ten picks. In return you'd get an OS34 decent player and a decent OS32 pitcher; however it is a reliever worth less than a starting pitcher.
MDorf's first comment is spot on...
I'm glad for you and the league you saw through this crappy offer.
