Trade advice in the Speaker Wilson League (Dynasty League)

Post by itzaboy »

I need your help with this trade offer. This is a (Dynasty League)

I have been offered:
Vazzrick Steele
Dewey Cirillo

I would give up:
Goat Batista
Ed Gochnauer
2006 Draft Pick Rd 1(CLE)

Here is a link to my depth chart

Here is a link to the other owner's depth chart

And here is a link to my league's standings

Thanks for the help,

It would be too much for me. A bench hitter and a decent reliever isn't going to make enough difference to pay a first and a good prospect.

You're basically giving up two of the same skill guys for 2 that are 11 years older, plus a draft pick.

If you think these two players are going to take you to the next level, yes. If they are just a slight improvement, I'd say no.

Neither of your kids is anything special, but you never know what a draft pick is worth. The hitter he's offering doesn't appear to me to help you much, except depth. The pitcher may be of some help, but he's not a superstar.

I would pass, but it's a decent offer.
If only Spec Richardson had never been the Astros GM...

These two should be 15 and 14 until they reach 21 and see where they are.

Steele is off to a hot start which makes him look better than he is. He's a bench player.

Cirillo is a good reliever but he's too old to be trading a prospect like Batista or a 1st.

Gochnauer is a guy who you might want to see what the other owner would give up for.
