I'd put more on your center-fielder, with his prospective speed even if he tops out at A- in Contact|Power, he'll be a beast - this guy - http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?mo ... d=12646331 - was a tick ahead of yours at OS 19 but he could come close.

I have thought I would love to put more on Brown, but then I am unsure who to lower. I have 2 first in each of the next 2 drafts so the cycle is not going to ease anytime soon.

On the rare occasions that I have a minor leaguer as good as Teller, I start getting frustrated around now. Conventional wisdom is, he's your best prospect, put 15CP on him until he's 23 and then bring him up. But when he's B+/A at OS20, sheesh, you have two more seasons of him in the minors converting about 10% of his chances if you're lucky. He's A+ health, so you could bring him up next year and not worry about overpitching him. He won't convert much worst than he would in the minors, and then you have a little more room for those four 1st rounders you have in your next two drafts.

At most leave him (Teller) down for half seasons. Get him 25 major ICs every season until you have no choice but to promote him full time.

My plan was to let Teller down until his birthday next year. Move him up on the day he can get drunk.

So I now have pick 1 in this draft.

I am very tempted to just take Heitmuller and throw him in LF and watch his HR totals.

I think that's the right move, especially if you have CP issues. Otherwise Cotter becomes an good option.

I recommend Jim Taylor at #1 and Cotter at #2...but definitely either of those over Heitmuller. Heck, even if you just plug a prospect in the Bigs too early I would still do that with Cotter instead of Heitmuller.

IMO, Taylor and Cotter are championship cornerstone pieces, Heitmuller is not.

Besides the terrible health and then Speed what is the difference between Heitmuller and Cotter. Heitmuller should be B+/A+ at worst vsR, and A-/A as the floor vsL. He could end up A-/A+, A/A+ in the end. Cotter A/A, A+/A cotter will have much better speed.

Roster is already littered with good young bats. Neither of them are SS defensively, Heitmuller an OF, and Cotter probably a 1B. I already have an awesome range no arm guy.
