using the undo to dramatically expand rosters

Post by HumYai »

A waiver wire idea I would like to suggest for consideration:

The undo feature is awesome, but some are using it to pad rosters and make fewer players available. This is done by picking up a player and waiving him, picking up a player and waiving him as many times possible in 5 minutes. This results in a team way over the roster limit. Of course, when the next game is played, the roster automatically waives players to meet the 53 man limit. I have seen rosters expanded well of 60 players using this method.

A possible solution: A player waived cannot be undone unless the roster is at 53 and below when attempting to undo. This way the undo is being used as intended when an accident is made and not abused to expand rosters.

add: one can say "so what" if the roster is corrected at the onset of the next game. But, there are times this goes on game after game through the entire season.
