The major league record for consecutive games at C w/o an error is 253 by Mark Redmond.

Rosie Currence has gone at least 332 (as of 9/7/90), if not more (I don't know when his 2nd error in 1987 occurred).

P.S. Mike Matheny holds the record for most consecutive chances without an error at catcher, with 1,565. Rosie has gone at least 2,530.

Doc Kamp (http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id ... s=fielding) didn't make an error in at least his last 421 at catcher. Earlier in his career he had a similar run; of course the exact number of games can't be tracked as we don't know when mid-season errors occur, but he went at least 338 games error free, and it was probably much closer to 450 in reality.

Well, he finally made an error during his 13th game of the 1994 season. This puts his errorless streak finally at at least 724 games (and as much as 831 games) without an error.

Release him!
