Mark Dustal did not respond to coaching in velocity
Max Gelnar did not respond to coaching in speed

Thanks :D

Totally normal, my friend. You can bring your Batter Mentoring Grade up by putting one or two red letter Mentors in your Starting lineup.
BZL: KC Clippers#
GGL: Detroit Diamonds*
CDL: New York Neons
SYL: Texas Lonestars#
SPL: Cincinnati Mavericks*
24TBeta: Boston/Seattle/Montreal/Miami

C+ mentor is the minimum i try to attain but I wouldn't worry about it much otherwise..... though it can have benefits if its higher....... focus on acquiring good talent at this stage of the learning process

Keep in mind the mentoring grade only affects major league IC's. Those minor league improvements you listed that didn't pan out are completely dependent on the minor leaguer's age and skill level.

Also be aware that pitchers convert improvement chances at a much lower rate that hitters. And that it makes perfect sense to be set up that way, since pitchers only have three categories for improving (endurance, velocity, & control), while hitters have eight.
