One thing the 8 players in JRL could be doing is talking their friends into joining the league. This has always been a word of mouth site. Complaining about the number of bots but doing nothing about it doesn't help Chris any.

Agree but pointing out that its hard to find on the site and suggesting a greater time for "buy-in" to Dynasty leagues is a productive suggestion.

i have to say, the merge with ryan and doby was handled extremely poorly. i didnt know it was happening until after it already happened. the only warning was a post 10 hours before the merge happened, which i didn't see because i was traveling overseas. and it wasn't a discussion.

then, there were no details about what a merge actually meant. all past data was destroyed as far as i can tell and no one explained that all settings would be wiped out. i spent an hour adjusting my settings the night before the merge and thought i was all set. all CP's revert to 0. manager preferences go back to the default. all back-up lineups get wiped out. and the merge happened the day before the season started. now i've lost the 1st 4 games of the season. really, really crappy way to handle things.

my ask for the future - please communicate better! explain what happens in a merge. give us time to adjust our settings and please let us discuss the merge in the first place. i have been playing SD since 2000 and have seen the game evolve dynamically. cudos to Tyson for building something so fun, but this was the most poorly handled thing i have ever experienced while playing.
