When to give up on position change?

Post by Slvanlae »

I have a minor league LF that I have been trying to move to CF but he is 1/36 in converting improvements for CF. ABE just telling me it won't happen? Should I give it up?

How old is the player? Anyone older than OS32 will not change position easily.

Minor league positional changes are erratic at best.

Michael's advice is sound in that he will convert very quickly at the major league level since it is a static % increase rather than a weighted coin flip that happens in the minors. The key in the majors is to make sure he only plays the position he is converting to until he is 100% otherwise he will lose skills when he plays elsewhere.
