Bizarro World

Post by meat1968 »

This game encapsulates the season thus far for this RHL team: http://www.simdynasty.com/boxscore.jsp? ... &cityid=15

This batting order vs LHP http://www.simdynasty.com/roster.jsp?ha ... amid=18167 gets shut down by this pitching staff http://www.simdynasty.com/rosterp.jsp...at HOME! That should happen maybe once out of every 20 games.

I just don't get it. The Stouts are one of the best teams in this league and should be blowing away the competition (http://www.simdynasty.com/league_lineup ... d=324&RL=R).

Instead it's a season of a .266 team batting, 4th place in the division, 8-7 vs this horrible bot team (http://www.simdynasty.com/depth.jsp?teamid=18021) just disgusting to look at. Why put together a good team if the team consistently loses to lesser opponents? I get the "Any given Sunday" thing, but the law of averages should balance it out over 162...or 104 games for that matter.

Where's the manager's preference setting for not sucking at the plate? I'm still looking for it...

Your team isn't doing that bad. Sometimes you'll have seasons like this where lesser teams dominate you. It's part of the Sim. Build out a great team should be the focus. In the long run you'll be fine.

It appears that most of your bats are hitting about what they hit every year. There is one doing better and a couple doing a little less, but as a whole they seem to be doing what they do year in and year out. The pitching is what would be driving me nuts, but it's all relative to your competition and your league. Your team isn't performing up to par, but you'll probably peel off 10 in a row to get you fat and happy again.
